The Steampunk Collection
 

In 2019 I created this collection of Steampunk characters. They were meant to be part of a solo show at The Topanga Canyon Gallery, in Topanga, CA. The pandemic hit and the gallery cancelled all shows and unfortunately, the gallery went under, too.

I began to post the images on Facebook and a woman in Topanga was interested. I brought the ones I had finished and was still working on - and there on her dirt road, propped up against her trash cans, both of us wearing masks, she bought the first three. 

Later, Her Husband (the painting) was bought by another collector who lived in Pacific Palisades. Unfortunately, the woman lost her home and Her Husband (the painting!) in the 2025 fires. 

Now all but two have been spoken for... Big Sister & Little Brother - and those two have quite a story, too... want to hear it?
